Talent Mobility for Innovation

ABOUT

Innovation in Canada and in other countries strongly depends on foreign talent with degrees and skills in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). This project investigates how technology clusters utilize programs at the state and sub-state (e.g. provincial) level when recruiting STEM talent.  By analyzing and comparing clusters in Canada, the United States, Europe, Asia and Pacific region, this project improves academic and public understanding. The research creates informed discussions regarding migration, and supports policy reforms for an enhanced, more effective management of STEM talent mobility for innovation and growth.
